Vacation

I love that so many new parks have music areas!

I think he could have played here all day.

Big guy!

LOVES the swings!  "Higher, Jeank!"

Stud.

Love you, Adam!

Jonathan was pretty apprehensive, until Aunt Sondra played with him!

Nate, Sondra, and Jonathan.

Eating at the Chocolate Moose!

Funny face.

Jonathan loved this dog in the toddler area at Jumpin' Joey's.

Aunt Sondra and Jonathan.  Love.

Cousin Adam was so awesome to hang out with Jonathan.

Such a big helper!

"Get those ducks!"

Jonathan and Nate.  (Can you tell this picture was forced?)

Holding up his prizes: an Indian guy and a Tootsie Pop.

Play-doh with Papa Terry!

Family.

He got a hit!

Taking a break from baseball to jam on the "guitar."

Baseball with Papa.

In an effort to save money and also enjoy the presence of our Indiana family, we decided to vacation in Indy and stay with my in-laws.  We had a FANTASTIC week.  Mama Jeank totally spoiled us with fun activities and great food.  (Darin even got to play a round of golf with his brother and dad.)  I especially loved seeing my sister-in-law, Sondra, and my nieces and nephews three times in one week!  We are so blessed to have an amazing family...it's unfortunate that we don't get to see the Indiana side as often as we'd like, but we have learned to cherish the time that we do have together.

Life Lately

Well, school will resume in less than a month.  As usual, I have mixed feelings.  I love teaching and am very fortunate to have a job.  However, I love staying home with Jonathan, too.  It's a good thing that my job allows me to be a stay-at-home mom for 3 months out of the year!

Here are some recent pictures...enjoy!

Jammin' with Uncle Karl.

Helping Mommy with the laundry.

Enjoying homemade popsicles.

Uncle Bob and Aunt Nancy at a wedding.

Jonathan and Uncle Bob dancing away.

Toys and treats at the wedding.

Shaving cream painting.  (Jonathan did not really enjoy this activity.)

Mandi sure loved it, though!  She painted for a LONG time!

Kim and Mandi thoroughly enjoyed the shaving cream.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Cornstarch putty with glitter and food coloring = fun!  Jonathan and Mandi BOTH loved it!

Holding hands at the museum.

It took about 5 takes to get this shot.

Officially outgrew his crib/toddler bed.

I can't believe how LONG he is!

First night in his new bed!

Lots of room to stretch out.

Oh, and I got a perm.  :O)

He made up some song while riding this dog...it was really cute!

Handsome!

Aunt Kim helping Jonathan on the glider.

Weeeeeeeee!

Mommy's turn!  (Thanks, Kim!)

Taking a break and enjoying a refreshing smoothie.

Best buddies.  Seriously.
