Dear Jonathan,
You are the sweetest, funniest, most rambunctious, most lovable and compassionate little boy!  Daddy and I can't get enough of you!  You make us laugh (even when we're upset and trying to correct you).  You love your brother and want so badly to play with him.  If we could pick one word to describe you it would be JOYFUL.  You are able to find the joy and the bright side in every situation that life offers.  Each day you wake-up smiling and can't wait to play.  You have a memory that astounds us, as you remember events that occurred a year ago.  Because of this, we have to be extra careful to follow through with our promises!  You love Jesus; you thank God for your meals, and you pray for us when something is wrong or when you notice that someone does not feel well.  You LOVE to sing and dance during your class at church.  Sometimes you request devotions, and we follow the devotion by watching some of your favorite Christian music videos on Youtube.  You are quite a gifted musician; at the age of three you can strum your guitar and can play the drums.  Singing and dancing are also a favorite thing to do.  Current favorite Christian songs are: "Me Without You", "God's Not Dead", and anything by The Rizers.

The ONE time he's actually supposed to make a funny face, he smiles.  Go figure.
